MONUMENT TO THE PHRASE "WHERE-WHERE? IN KARAGANDA!"

Monument to the famous phrase "Where-where? In Karaganda!" is installed in the center of Karaganda on N.Abdirov Avenue. The construction of the monument was initiated by producer Bari Alibasov. The monument even got into the Guinness Book of Records as the first, and only at that time, material embodiment of a verbal masterpiece. The installation is a sculptural group of two men – a citizen and a guest of the city, as well as a groundhog – the symbol of Karaganda. Traditionally, touching the monument, the addressee receives the fulfillment of desires.

CATHEDRAL OF OUR LADY OF FATIMA

The Cathedral of Our Lady of Fatima is the largest Catholic church in Kazakhstan. Despite the fact that the church is of modern construction, its appearance resembles a medieval castle. The religious building resembles the Gothic architecture of Cologne Cathedral. The brick walls are lined with shell rock, between the towers with bells there is a white marble statue of the Virgin Mary of Fatima. The interior features tiled frescoes, stained glass windows, a gilded altar with carved wooden details. For a small fee, you can listen to a fascinating lecture about the life of Christ. The cathedral houses the largest organ in the republic.

KARLAG MUSEUM

In the vicinity of Karaganda, in the village of Dolinka, there is a museum of grief and memory of the repressed exiled to Kazakhstan in the 30-50s of the last century. The expositions are located in the building that was once the Administration of the Karlag camps. There are men's and women's barracks in miniature, a room for photographing with an old camera, a punishment cell, a torture room with many devices for torturing people, a firing wall. Realistic wax figures "live" in each room. Among the expositions is a wagon, an exact copy of the heatwaves that settlers brought to the steppes. The museum has a unique collection of printed publications, documents, and photographs.

KARAGANDA MUSICAL COMEDY THEATER

The first and only Russian musical comedy theater in the country is located in Karaganda. The theater played its debut season in 1973. And it happened in the city of Temirtau. Seven years later, the troupe moved to Karaganda, where a building was specially built for it. In the early two thousands, the theater was given the status of an academic one. Despite the fact that the main genre of the theater is operetta, the repertoire includes musicals, operas, ballets, comedy performances, children's fairy–tale productions, musical evenings, holiday shows. The theater has visited many countries of the world.

Where to eat

Steaks from local beef and high-quality burgers of impressive size can be found in the restaurant "Bratiya Mushkiny". Do not fail to try sea bass with black rice or spaghetti Nero with cuttlefish ink sauce in the loft-style coffee shop "Ugol.1934". And in the pub-restaurant Line Brew, you can fry meat on a stone, which is heated to 300 degrees and brought to your table.

User agreement

The goal set by “Engineering Company “КАZTECHNOLOGY” Limited Liability Partnership as its primary objective is to provide its clients with wide and high-quality spectrum of leisure services through ensuring of access to multimedia entertainment portal and additional services hosted at train servers by wireless technology (Wi-Fi) (hereinafter – Services).
All terms and conditions of this Agreement are mandatory both for User and Executive. Prior to using the Services any User is obliged to get familiar with the terms and conditions of this public offer.
Services shall be rendered on the basis of «Rules for Service Using” which impose on users the certain restrictions concerning the actions which may restrict or impinge upon the rights and freedoms of other users.

Rules for Service Using

Defined terms and notations
“Executive” is “Engineering Company “КАZTECHNOLOGY” Limited Liability Partnership. Legal address: Office 413, MARDEN Business Center, 14 Beibitshilik Str., Astana, 010000, the Republic of Kazakhstan.
“User” is any physical person who had attained the age of eighteen, group of such persons or organization (institution, firm with any form of ownership and so on) which constitutes a legal entity being in need of Services and having technical capability to obtain them.
“User’s technical capability” means the User’s location in the radio coverage area of Wi-Fi access points (supported by device of IEEE 802.11 standard for Wi-Fi) of Executive and using for access to the Services of the User’s adjusted hardware and software (supported by browser of html5, cookie and javascript technologies device). Users shall configure software and set hardware up by themselves.

In using the Services, it is prohibited to:
Restrict the access of other Users or obstruct other Users in using the Services.
Send advertising, information and other materials without consent (or in lack of application) by the mail recipients, as well as to electronic publications and conferences irrelevant on the subject matter.
Perform “fan” (mass) mailing of advertising, information and other materials to other users of Internet unless the recipients give their consent to receive the said materials both to personal e-mail address and via electronic public access publications and conferences not intended for such purposes.
Perform self-willed (unauthorized) penetrations into any process components (units), programs, databases and other constituent elements of the Executive’s network and Internet. Penetration should be understood as any actions, against committing of which, or attempted committing of which, the legal accountability is established in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Transmit any information or software containing viruses or other harmful components.
Send, transmit, reproduce, provide or otherwise use for commercial purposes the any information, software or other materials, fully or partially obtained by means of the Services (unless expressly permitted by a provider of such information, software or other products).
Executive is not obliged to track the content of information circulated via the Services. However, the User assumes the condition the Executive shall be entitled to trace, from time to time, the information which passes through the Services and disclose any information should it be necessary according to the law, requirements of authorized state institutions, or for normal functioning of the Services, or for protection of the Executive and other Users, as well as any third persons whose rights and interests were, or might be, infringed.
Executive may terminate the User’s access to the Service without preliminary warning if the User appears to be involved in the actions which are, as the Executive reasonably believes, violating the rules and standards set forth in this Agreement.
Parties shall bear responsibility for failure to perform or improper performance of their obligations according to applicable legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Users confirm that they agree with these Rules for Services using by clicking the “I accept the terms” key placed under the text of these Rules for Services using.
Service rendering commencement is determined from:
the moment of first connection to portal access;
from the moment of first connection to video view;
and is effective through entire time under the rate plan.
By accepting this Agreement term the Users give their consent to receive from the Executive any information and advertising messages to specified e-mail address, and to telephone number by SMS as well.
